Citadels

Citadels is card game in which players take on a role each turn and build buildings. The roles are drafted at the beginning of a round. Each role has different ability (assassin kills another character, thief steals gold from another character etc.) and can be helpful in a certain scenario. The abilities are used in a specific order. After that a player can earn gold, draw two cards and discard one or build a building.  The first player to erect 8 buildings ends the game. The player with most points wins (points can are primarily earned from buildings as they have a point value but can also be earned when special conditions are met - for example having buildings erected of all 5 colors).
