Detail description
Love Letter is played in rounds, during which you entrust your allies, friends, and members of the royal family to deliver your letter to the princess. The card you hold in your hand represents the person currently holding your letter. However, the messenger can change during the game as cards are played and drawn. You win a round by having the highest value card in your hand at the end or by being the last player remaining in the game.
You always start the game with one card in your hand. At the beginning of your turn, draw one card from the deck. Then choose one of your two cards, play it, and resolve its effect. The effects of some cards may eliminate you from the game: a rival suitor has made sure your letter gets lost along the way.
With this new version of Love Letter, you can also play the "classic" Love Letter, which was designed for 2-4 players. At the start of the game, simply remove 5 cards from the deck as listed in the game rules. Other differences from the "classic" version, besides a higher number of cards, include scoring tokens and a fabric pouch for storing the game.
