In feudal Japan, a “naishi” was a woman who served at the imperial court. She held an important position and carried out a wide range of duties, particularly in the preparation of rituals and ceremonies. The emperor often selected naishi from noble families, as these women could wield considerable influence across different circles of power.

In Naishi, you will expand your domain with new provinces and influential characters to increase your prestige and score as many points as possible. However, the Shogun’s law is strict and prevents you from moving characters or locations once they have been placed. Make the most of every opportunity and send your envoys to the imperial court. Position your cards as effectively as possible and take control of the most prestigious territory in all of Japan.
