Welcome to Arkham!
The year is 1926 and the Roaring Twenties are in full swing. In smoky clubs, flappers dance until morning and drink alcohol supplied by rum-runners or gangs. It is the celebration to end all celebrations in the aftermath of the war to end all wars. But in the city of Arkham, a dark shadow is growing. Strange beings known as the Ancient Ones lurk in the void beyond time and space, writhing on the threshold between worlds. Occult rituals must be stopped and unearthly monsters destroyed before the Ancient Ones conquer and unravel our world. Yet only a handful of investigators stand against the horrors of Arkham. Will they succeed?

Detail description
Arkham Horror is a board game full of grim action and horror for one to six players, lasting two to three hours. The game is set in the fictional city of Arkham, Massachusetts, created in the writings about the Cthulhu Mythos by the famous H. P. Lovecraft.
The city of Arkham is plagued by terrifying monsters from other times or worlds. Players must join forces to avert impending doom. If this ancient evil is left unchecked, it will rise and destroy not only Arkham, but the entire world. Arkham Horror is a cooperative game. All players are on the same team and win or lose the game together. Each player controls a fearless investigator—one of the few who realize the growing threat to our world. Investigators explore the city and encounter both ordinary people and supernatural beings in various locations. Through these adventures, investigators hope to find clues and necessary resources to confront the Ancient Ones and ultimately defeat them.
